Rachel Kent To Lead Fiducia Commercial Network

Rachel Kent will lead the global expansion of the Fiducia Network and Fiducia Commercial Solutions.

She has been appointed Managing Director of both business and will focus on expanding the rapidly developing Network of Appointed Representatives.

The Network allows independent operators to provide brokered commercial finance opportunities to their existing client base – under Fiducia’s FCA regulatory umbrella.

Fiducia Group CEO Marcus Grimshaw believes the Network can deliver £4.25 billion in commercial lending over the next three years and will open up wider financial advice needs for SME owners.

Rachel has been a key member of the Fiducia Group Executive Team for the past three years and has demonstrated the drive, leadership and focus required to propel the Network forward.

Managing Director

“We are delighted to confirm that Rachel will become the Managing Director of The Fiducia Network and Fiducia Commercial Solutions,” Marcus explained.

“She has been a key member of the Fiducia Group Executive Team for the past three years and has demonstrated the drive, leadership and focus required to propel the Network forward.

“We believe there are tremendous opportunities for the Network to grow over the coming months and years both domestically and internationally.

“The Network needs the support of a skilled and dedicated team, and that team needs to be led by an individual with a relentless focus on good quality recruiting with an iron grip on risk management compliance, due diligence and best customer outcomes.

“We knew straight away that Rachel had already displayed all of those qualities and more and we are delighted she was prepared to lead the team.”

Finance Background

Rachel has enjoyed a successful 25-year-career in the finance industry and for the past three years has overseen the strategic direction of the Fiducia Group in her role as Operations Director.

She will begin her role leading the Fiducia Network with immediate effect and is hugely ambitious about the growth opportunities for both businesses.

She said: “I believe the Fiducia Network can become the UK’s largest Network of Appointed Representatives, the leading provider of commercial finance opportunities.

“There are an estimated 5.6 million SMEs in the UK that account for something like half the UK economy’s total turnover and the Fiducia Network can help them to secure the funding they need.

“The Network is growing all the time attracting former commercial and private bankers, residential mortgage brokers with commercial clients, finance brokers, accountants, solicitors and more.

“The Fiducia Commercial Network allows those individuals to provide a full range of commercial finance solutions to their existing client base with the full support of the Fiducia Group.

“The opportunities are limitless and the potential for growth is enormous both domestically and internationally and I can’t wait to lead the team.”

The Fiducia Network is part of the Fiducia Group of companies, founded in 2001 by industry veteran Marcus Grimshaw and Anthony Scott.

The former commercial and private bankers have assembled a team boasting more than 200-years of financial expertise and exceptional portfolio management.

They believe the Network shifts the traditional transactional nature of the finance broker industry to more of a relationship management, providing clients with wealth management, pensions and protection needs.
